THE NEXT STEP PROGRAM
THE NEXT STEP PROGRAM offers A micro loan that is a small interest free loan of up to $1,000.00 that can be used for such things as rent, utilities, furniture, moving expenses and all those other hidden costs that are applicable to starting over. The first step is not an easy one but with a little help raise awareness, education and funding for vulnerable at risk residents of York Region, giving much needed self empowerment, hope and dignity through financial assistance and rebuild their lives and move forward.
This type of loan program has been running successfully for years in Toronto and the Region of Peel; however residents of York Region are not eligible to apply due to geographical restrictions. As we all know the need for assisting those that are leaving abusive situation is extremely high in our region. We are in great need of this loan program; you can help us take the next step.
